About Document Viewer

Document Viewer lets students view Office documents directly inside Moodle — no download or extra software needed. It supports Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OpenDocument, and RTF files. Any document you upload as a course resource is automatically displayed as an inline preview. Teachers control each file individually: choose which files show a preview and which can be downloaded. Settings are managed with simple toggle buttons right on the course page. Files are converted only once and cached — after that, they load instantly. Old cached files are cleaned up automatically. Install and go — no configuration required. Stores no personal data. Available in English and Greek.
